Odeo
Odeo is a cool service that offers a way to record and share audio online for free. You can record audio with your microphone or by calling on your telephone. Odeo converts the audio to MP3 and stores it online in your account where you can set it up to be shared with your contacts by e-mail or by placing it in a channel that will be shared with the public. The audio can be downloaded and played by any MP3 player or can be podcast through a player like iTunes or Juice. You can see exactly how many times your audio has been listened to. They even give you the code so you can share your audio clips on your blog with a Flash player. Audio that has already been stored online can be imported and shared through Odeo as well. In true Web 2.0 fashion, you can tag your audio clip to make it searchable.
You can create a profile, subscribe to podcasts and comment on audio files. It's a neat way to store recorded reminders for yourself, keep in touch with friends and family, or publish your podcast for the world to hear.
